comment File Operation not supported on Windows drives mounted on Ubuntu
@Tim: the read and write would be rw. Hmmm...It would not surprise me that because you were tight on disk space, the linux NTFS kernel module could not fully read the NTFS system folder (special folder for the NT filesystem to keep track of all files in the ntfs partition) and hence prevented the capability of writing. I would hazard a guess that is a fail safe 'feature' to prevent corruption - not 100% sure.

comment Is there any equivalent to wine for running Mac applications?
It would be best to tell why this was down-voted for everyone to see. It would help others to post answers better here and better themselves also on superuser.com. Thanks for the time to read it. :)

comment Use Internet Explorer 6 and 7 in Virtual Box
@fviktor: I think he meant that the vhd (which is specifically virtual pc - i guess) he is trying to extract data from it and use it in virtualbox. AFAIK there is no support for vhd to be used in virtualbox. Correct me if I am wrong?

comment How to insert time and date, and the directory path in Notepad++?
By the way, funny that this version is latest, the date/time textfx plugin works but the insertion of current directory/full path and filename is still not working...sorry!
