Stack Exchange employs me as a Community Manager. I've been known to respond to jericson@stackexchange.com.

You can read about what I've done over the years in my curriculum vitae.

On a personal note, I'm married and have three children. Our oldest son loves school, friends, games, and reading. (He can't wait to get on our LEGO® Answers site, but he's not quite old enough. My posts there are usually at his request.) Two of my children happen to have been born on the same day. I sometimes write about that experience.

Don't have time for a full review of something? Why not try my 5-second reviews?

Occasionally, I write a post for Eschewmenical.

This does indeed meet my needs so far.

Interesting suggestion, but the Kindle at least does not support Peer-to-Peer networks. Seems like it would be a better way to move documents from one computer to another than to email them to myself, however.

@TimothyAWiseman: Yeah, I'm probably using the wrong terminology. It would be helpful if the answer shed some light on my mistake, so I could learn from the answer. As it is, the answer is pretty much meaningless to me.

Hmmm... I wonder if you are answering a different question than the one I intended to ask. FYI, I tried the suggestion in the answer to the question I linked to and am able to connect both of the WiFi devices to the internet via my laptop's wireless card. I guess I must be in the lucky 1%.

Thanks for the answer anyway. I'm going to try that out. I also asked a version of this question that doesn't have the extra restriction of disabling the Internet Connection Sharing service.
