comment Is it really possible for most enthusiasts to hack people's Wi-Fi networks?
I have the same question as Andy, while Mac Address is not the end all, doesn't help in that you would need to know the Mac Address to filter first. Also if two devices are connected with the same MAC address (or the second one tries to connect) wouldn't that be an indication of a problem. Are there any routers out there that will prevent two of the same MAC Addresses?

Thank you, this advice is helpful for any one who has not set the services to automatic but wasn't my specific issue.

The problem seems to be two days ago I got the User Profile Service failed. The light on the front of my computer seems to always be on, as if something is accessing the disk. Loading games and programs seem to freeze hard during the start up and the first time using a resource. I thought the above was contributing to that sort of like running windows on low memory or something. I have a computer with 8 gigs and seem to be running fine last week.

@Oriol, even if I do that I feel that what ever I did lately will slow it down again.

Thank you, I thought I had a virus or hijack. One thing to note on my Microsoft Digital Media Pro Keyboard "open file" and "Print" are the default when FLock is Not on. Turning FLock on brings up the Dev tools.
