Programmer for fun and profit. Started with BASIC in 1994 and Java in 1997. For fun I program just about everything, professionally I've done web development, a bit of app development, and a bunch of running around a *nix command-line. I'm especially interested in programming languages (and hence compilers), graphics, and any cool algorithms.

I use StackOverflow frequently (often via Google), so I figured I'd finally set up a profile so I could contribute a bit.

comment Does Mac OS X store the names of DVDs that have been played?
It appears Apple deliberately obfuscates this information, as on OS X 10.8.2 I see only *.enc (presumably meaning "encrypted") files instead of the individual plists for each media. There's only the Shared Settings.plist that is readable.
