X11 is the protocol used to talk to the server, not the identifier for the server.

comment How to execute a php file when a cron job is created
@MarcB — That is running a PHP script as a cron job, not running it when a cron job is created.

comment Is there a way to turn a laptop screen into a touch screen for Windows 8
touch overlays aren't all that cheap, will have to be removed before you can close the laptop, and I've no idea what the support for them in Windows 8 would be like.

See the links in the answer. It claims to be software that finds you deals. It is widely considered to be malware.

comment Is Unix not a PC operating system?
It's a reasonably reaction to the PC == Windows mindshare. If I go into a games shop, the products have XBox, PS3, PC and Mac on the boxes. If Apple started claiming to make PCs then they'll just get unhappy customers who can't run the software labeled as "PC".

comment JavaScript executed through address bar is not working in Firefox 7, 8
From that URL: "Starting in Firefox 6 javascript in the url-bar runs with a null security principal for security reasons. This means it's almost disabled. You need a bookmarklet or an add-on for a workaround."

comment run cron every minute during a specific hour?
That will (or would, since it has now been edited) run every minute between 1pm and 3pm
