comment Office 365 compatibility issue with Office Standard 2010
Are these cells populated with formula's or with data? Has the formatting changed? Have you checked the formatting of each cell? It looks like that could be an issue. If the data is a number but then formatted as a date the protected view might show you the actual content (original number) while the unprotected view could convert this to a "long date" which is too long for the cell to show, hence why you get ###. Just a few ideas.

Try pressing and holding your power button for 10 seconds. If this does not work then remove the battery, if your PC has a back-up battery inbuilt then you may need to wait several hours for this battery to run out.

comment Conditional Formatting
Under column "N" you have "contract" and "non contract", is this done manually? As you say you have a different sheet listing all contracts then I assume you have some kind of cross reference between sheets? A contract number perhaps? If this is the case you could use a VLOOKUP to return either "contract" or "non contract" and use conditional formatting on that column. If you have no cross reference then I think manually highlighting the cells is your only option.

comment Reverse vlookup
vlookup only works when the item you are checking is in the column to the far left of your data table. I suggest you move the "Code" coloum to the left of the "Substring" and "Description" coloums.

comment Lookup ProductID on another sheet and return the lowest cost and its column header
As others have mentioned in comments, this site is to help not to do. You need to nest formulas to get the result you need. I suggest you start with the vlookup I showed you in your other question and see if you can get that to look up your item number and return the price from one of your vendors. Then repeat for the other two prices. I would then use an IF statement to find the lowest of the three values. Nesting these will be difficult but if you can get the vlookup working then you can get the nesting done too. Give it a try and then edit your question and we will help more.

comment Excel find specific number of characters
As duDE said, your question is not clear. I am assuming you mean you want to find some string in a cell where that is not the only string? For example, a cell contains "123456789" and you want to find "456", of this is the case then using a filter will work. However I do not understand the "the numbers are not the same .... so I can't Ctrl F" bit, surely you can just change the value you are searching for?

comment Merge two cells “AAA” and “001” to get “AAA-001”?
Perfect. I knew what the problem was but just could not solve it, using "000" as the format for the text worked perfectly. TY so much, you just saved me maybe 20 hours work over the next few months :)
