comment How can I throttle Netflix' bandwidth usage?
A brief test suggests that it doesn't affect the Xbox player. :-/

comment How can I throttle Netflix' bandwidth usage?
To the close-voter: I was expecting the answer to be router-related and therefore appropriate for this site. But if there's another SE site where this would be more on-topic, I'd be happy to move it there. :-)

I was under the impression this setting only applied to in-browser player?

comment wget and cookies.txt — domain.tld vs. .domain.tld
I think I see where I was confused; I was focused on the "domains must start with a dot" part of the spec, but if the ";domain=" part of the Set-Cookie header is left off completely, you get a no-leading-dot hostname. Thanks!

comment How can I “invert” a directory structure?
Nice! A word of caution, though — watch out for name collisions between folders and subfolders (e.g. "foo\bar" and "bar\baz"). You can get around this by changing "%~ny\%x" to e.g. "C:\target\%~ny\%x" (and omit the first line as previously discussed).
