comment Notepad++ Deleting everything apart from 40 variables, putting them on their own line, combining regex
Are all of your variables preceded by digitdigitdigit>? And does that pattern appear elsewhere? If the answers are "yes" and "no" then simply search for that 4 character prefix and for < as the terminator. Sorry not trying to build regexes on a mobile device.

If you're not updated on edits, re-read the answer - MS announced today "Nano" server, managed via WMI and PowerShell only.

comment Unable to mount corrupted (?) ext4 filesystem on usb hard drive (Ubuntu 14.04)
You might also get information from TestDisk (cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk) but this doesn't sound like something you have important data on. Seeing /dev/sdb without /dev/sdb1 indicates no partition table, seeing it inconsistently indicates severe problems.

comment Unable to mount corrupted (?) ext4 filesystem on usb hard drive (Ubuntu 14.04)
This sounds suspiciously like a hardware failure of the drive or electronics.

comment How to clear the BIOS security password on this notebook?
You're prompted for this within the BIOS settings, and are you able to try many combinations without then being locked out? If so, try variations of capitalization, as well as things like an extra space or tab at the end - you may have gotten a "stray" character on there.

comment How to clear the BIOS security password on this notebook?
Won't it allow you to set/change the password once you're in the BIOS? At that point you should be in the same "buggy" prompt location that originally let you set a bad one even if it requires that you enter the old password.

comment Wi-Fi is slow only on Acer laptop but works great on Android mobile and iPad
Is it faster on the laptop when plugged in? Windows 8 can do some over aggressive power management on the WiFi card that leads to bad connections even just 15-20 get from the AP. Change settings both in power settings and in the advanced settings for the card itself.

comment sed: What does exit code 2 mean?
I've encountered problems when using Posix utils (e.g. 'find') on Windows from .bat/.cmd files, because the commands output and expect *nix-style paths. You don't appear to have that in your expression, but I've never used Wpkg - is it looking for *nix style paths even on Windows?

comment Is KB948943 included in Office 2007 SP3
Forking the core executables would mean that they had two separate sets of source code, one with these fixes and a "main trunk" that continued on but didn't include these fixes. My choice of words was probably not quite right, I should probably have called it a branch, but either way it'd be a split into two separate code bases. You'll see many references to this in reference to source code version control software like "git" (e.g. Github for a vendor). This might also provide a little info: stackoverflow.com/questions/6286571/git-fork-is-git-clone

comment Why can't I connect an Access Point to this Network?
If the product is actually an AP, then no - doing NAT is pretty much the definition of a router. There may be some options for separate subnets on sufficiently advanced APs, but I suspect if you were talking about US$1000+ equipment you'd have mentioned it. Having a router provides some other benefits, such as being able to have equipment (e.g. printers) not actually accessible to the world.

comment Connect printer from a different network (different ip and gateway)
Gravedug because it showed up as active "today" for some reason, and neither of the answers posted is correct for the question as asked.

comment Sorting HTML content based on second line of table cell
Missed the edit deadline, along with part of the question. You may also want to look into vbscript text processing, likely also available if PowerShell is and more likely to have a large existing base of text processing code.

Do you have access to Excel? And does this need to be fully automatable or is a manual process ok?
