comment Windows activation with planned reinstall
@jpoh as I recall, you can use this to back up OEM Windows, yes. You can also do the reinstall from OEM media - see activation FAQ for more info.

comment Can my laptop's Hard Disk be cloned and loaded to another laptop?
@DanielRHicks OEMs actually use the same license key on all their machines. Activation is done by checking the BIOS for a cryptographic key that verifies the OEM license used matches the hardware.

"everywhere internally including outside of your LAN" doesn't really make much sense.

Do you have a DNS server internally? What's your network environment like? Is everything connected to a single router? If you have a DNS server it should be trivial to set this up, it's a very common thing to do.

comment Do video/graphics cards work at their “peak” output for connected monitors all of the time?
Make sure that you can actually run 4 monitors on it. Often cards can only output up to 2 DVI, HDMI, or VGA signals, and any additional signals must be displayport.

You've made many great contributions to this site, and your number of helpful flags approaches the total number of flags handled by some moderators. I think you would be a natural fit for this position.

Wow. Since the election began, you have suggested 189 edits. Prior to the election, you had suggested one. You've made 144 flags, all but 22 of which were made since the election began. That's impressive! If you happened to not win the election, can we look forward to seeing this astounding level of activity continue in the future?
