How do I place a bootable ISO on a USB drive?dd .. of=... only works for Hybrid iso images. There's a isohybrid utility in syslinux package that can be used to convert regular ISO to hybrid ISO. |

Linux NTFS partition read/write I have used it only occasionally (just to copy/move files to/from ntfs partition), but I haven't used any advanced things (ACL, or changed permissions).
