I do Technical Support for two businesses; a small ISP and a large University. On the side I run a Minecraft server, fiddle in various Linux distros, and program (mostly Ruby).

comment When remoting into a computer using SCCM, my local keyboard layout is ignored
As SCCM is primarily an admin tool, this might be better placed in serverfault, but I was not sure.

comment Why does the windows 8 task manager seem to freeze?
It cannot be pausing when resources are being hogged... if that were so, then every time I noticed it being paused, Memory or CPU would be capped because it paused during the bad time. But it's often indicating very low usage (no problems) which is confusing when I glance at it to see why my computer is behaving poorly now.

comment How can I clear the current line of the Windows command prompt?
Which would be relevant if the question wasn't specifically targeted at the Windows 7 command prompt. :-) Also, I believe this is shell specific, as I am reasonably certain some shells have the same behavior as Windows when pressing Ctrl+C.

I started to contradict you, until I realized I had replaced notepad.exe with textpad.exe. :S
