comment What is the rationale behind safely removing USB media from windows PCs?
I'd give this answer a +1 if it also mentioned the fact that Windows makes sure no files are currently open on the drive. Lots of processes like explorer.exe do silly things with files on your drive without you knowing about it, and it's good to make sure none of that Tom Foolery is going on before you unplug it. Not to mention that some people like to do even more silly things like open an Excel spreadsheet directly on the drive, then forget Excel is open.

comment How do I place a bootable ISO on a USB drive?
+1 for open source. I'm very skeptical of freeware that isn't open source.

@Ramhound That's the point, I can't cancel the scan. This is at boot time.

comment Is There a way to permanently disable Google updates on any software?
I remember doing this a long time ago, and if my memory serves me, this method didn't work very well. Every time you install a new Google product (and maybe every time you run a Google product), the task will be reenabled.

comment Determine when Windows was installed on a computer
+1 Not because the accepted answer is inadequate (it answers the question perfectly well), but because I didn't know about the systeminfo command and that seems pretty darn useful for other things as well.

comment Is there a windows command that returns the list of 64 and 32 process?
A more succinct way to get all 32-bit processes: Get-Process | where { ($_.Modules | where { $_.FileName -match "\\wow64.dll$" }) }
