comment Linking two entries in a list
Thanks! It looks like I'll have to do this in Access. I'll need three tables: Heroes, Counters and Synergies. The Synergies table will be different as I'm just saying that two heroes work together. Maybe just two columns (hero 1 and hero 2) and I can query if a hero appears in either column?

comment The Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool tries to install every boot
Thank you. Autoruns fixed it. Somehow the USB tool got tangled up with a Borderless Windowed gaming utility I downloaded but never used. Very weird.

comment How do I manage multiple audio playback devices on Windows Vista/7?
This worked for me, but I had to use SendInput {Down} instead of ControlSend,SysListView321,{Down}. I also had to change the number of {Downs} to match my audio devices.

comment Windows 7 logging off standard users
This fixed it for me. An altered userinit string was also causing Xbox 360 disconnections. Soluto had edited the string. I uninstalled Soluto and the problem was solved. community.soluto.com/soluto/topics/…

The Message Notification plugin was helpful, but the windows are still not popping into the foreground - although they do bring me out of fullscreen videogames. :-\

OpenDNS does not require an account. You can just use the IP addresses.

Hi Joe. I think you just lose the Ubuntu bookmarks, search engines and themes. I haven't noticed anything else.

comment My computer won't do POST when switched on. Is there a way to determine which component is the culprit without replacement parts?
Cheap power supply units are a false economy. I'd try to borrow a spare machine. Might be cheaper to take to a repair shop, as they will have spare parts to hand.

Someone else will have to help you there - I'm afraid. I recently listened to the recent FreeBSD podcast of FLOSS Weekly. They were talking up FreeBSD's simplicity and stability.

Doesn't work for me either. I'm on 64-bit Windows 7.

Unfortunately I don't think Windows Search indexes the tags.

Have you tried Filezilla? It displays the local and the remote directories at the same time and shows the full number of bytes of all files.
