Windows 7, Network and Sharing center shows no network, but computer is connected and browsing So this is a Home OS on a non-home network? Or does your home network really have a DNS/DHCP server, that is separate from your gateway (and giving out a domain suffix)? ;) |

In Inkscape how to change stroke thickness for a grouped object Weird, that's exactly the usage I was thinking it would be good for. :) |

What is the difference between (these four) sleep states? Generalized it a bit; S states are not OS-specific, and answers cover beyond the 4 in the question, good for reference. |

Confused on which RAM is compatible with two dimm slot Plenty of 1066/1333 "kits" contain three sticks these days, for the same reasons, only in a triple-channel configuration. :) |

Windows VPN client suddently stopped working on Vista 64-bit PC Does your router allow multiple, simultaneous outbound VPN connections to the same VPN server? Many SOHO routers with "VPN pass-through" do not. Ass bill.cn says, we need more info. :) |

In Inkscape how to change stroke thickness for a grouped object When you have two objects, grouped or not, there is no 'inner' strokes, just the outer strokes of each object. I played with the paths (combine, include, etc.) but those tended to leave me with one objects (with the same fill, and the inner strokes vanished). Good question, I could see how the effect would be useful for sure. Hopefully someone has a procedure to pull it off. :) |

Windows 7, Network and Sharing center shows no network, but computer is connected and browsing Can you edit your question and post an ipconfig? If there are multiple adapters, then you may have a gateway or routing issue. |
