Ahh right okay. I've done this twice now with the same results. What's the path/filename of the setup log? C:\setup.log?

Will Acronis also image the partition data? The new HDD obviously won't have that, so it'll need to put the partitions back before putting the data in.

Thanks for the advice. I don't have an option to format as FAT or FAT16 - only FAT32, exFAT or NTFS. I've tried FAT32 and NTFS and neither worked. I'll try exFAT, then I'll do the whole thing over on an SD card and see if that's any better.

Is there any reason why 64-bit software and 32-bit software had to be split in this way? I mean, it's just files on the disk, isn't it?
