comment Active content security warning in all files
@JohnMacIntyre Not actually. I finally assumed that Access displays the warning every time, no matter the file contents.

comment How can I find out whether my Windows is 32bit or 64 bit?
Text is localised but seems to be identical to msinfo32's output (x64-based PC in English)

comment Enable/disable Windows 7 device via command line
Site does not mention supported systems but it works fine on Windows 8.1 64-bit (used the "DevManView for x64 systems" version).

Got it working this way. If you don't mind, I'll edit the answer with a FAQ entry I found.

@Psycogeek - Output goes to %temp% (C:\Users\alvaro\AppData\Local\Temp), I know because I have to remove the temporary file myself when 7-Zip freezes.

@MonkeyZeus - They were previously on an external USB disk (so D: used to have 523+76 free GB). I moved them later to D:. I'm getting C: filled in both cases.

comment Use USB interface to paste wifi password
I've finally taken the path of least resistance and reconfigured wifi on all other devices. I've switched to Epson from HP but I guess printer software is crap no matter the vendor. Thank you for your time.

comment Use USB interface to paste wifi password
When I select "configure wifi" in the CD wizard it just freezes while (apparently) looking for an already configured printer. My key is actually 60 characters long—I've never had to type it it in seven years. Trying to change it right now, but router claims my network will be slower... :-!
