@ekaj I know, I was sharply simplifying my response to match the effort put into the Question. Feel free to write a detailed Answer and you've got my upvote...

comment Securing FreeBSD in single user mode
He likely thinks it's "funny" because anyone with physical access to an unencrypted machine can boot whatever they want and access the raw data of the machine without restrictions.

@MaQleod You wrote a comment twice a long as my crappy answer explaining why it's crappy instead of writing a good answer... probably for the same reason I didn't write a good answer. =]

comment How does Windows Vista/7/2008 bootmgr work behind the scene?
Sorry, this answer is rather off topic for Super User. On Server Fault we consider "don't do that" type answers to be The Right Answer sometimes. I'll leave this here for reference but you're right that it doesn't suit the question here.

comment Why does an access point have a BSSID?
@quadruplebucky Snooping on the functions of a higher level seems like a dubious definition of "operates", but you're free to have an opinion.

comment Why does an access point have a BSSID?
@no.human.being An Ethernet switch only snoops on MAC addresses for efficiency. It's not a layer 2 device in the traditional sense of the term unless it also has management functions and communicates with devices on the network.

comment Access an internal network Webcam from outside (www)?
You need mod_proxy, not rewrite. I'd highly recommend finding someone who knows what they're doing to help you before you expose your entire internal network to the Internet, or become an open relay.

You think that is enough, or you actually looked at the spec sheet and know that is enough?
