You must prefix all of your commands with sudo in order to act as the root user.

comment What is wrong with the TrueCrypt license?
lists.freedesktop.org/archives/distributions/2008-October/… I think this sums it up nicely. I got it from the wiki article. It gets into some major legalese in there...

comment How do I rotate part of a video?
You'll need to cut the clip from the file, rotate it to the correct way and then splice it back together. One problem with this is that you've recorded it sideways for a bit, so unless your device is at a 1:1 ratio, then it's going to have to be smaller to fit all of the video or zoomed in to keep the original resolution.

comment How to turn off annoying blue light in laptop webcam
Electrical tape is the way to go, if you can manage to cover the light and not anything important (like the webcam's lens). I covered up my laptop's annoying 6(!) LED lights that were on the keyboard and now it's perfect.

comment Linux console output - pause after each screen
If you have --color=auto then ls will display color if there is no pipe. If there is a pipe, it won't display the color. Having --color=always gives pipes color.

comment Why is my 802.11g wireless LAN so slow?
For PAN and LAN standards like WiFi, these levels of performance are attainable under ideal radio conditions (that is, a complete lack of interference and at close range without obstacles).
