Linux: emulate mouse clicks with keyboard In KDE 4.7 this has been moved and renamed slightly: Hardware | Input Devices | Mouse | Mouse Navigation | Move pointer with keyboard. Thanks for the tip! Solved my problem perfectly (only have a stylus with no buttons...) |

Rename photos during download from camera - on Linux? I originally scripted up a solution. It has worked fine for over a year. Unfortunately it did bad things two days ago under an unexpected context (unmounted file share). I think I've managed to recover all of my images now (thanks PhotoRec!). I am still looking for a very general purpose open source program so that I can share finding bugs with everybody else... ;). |

Free Data recovery tool for linux? Unfortunately - at least in my case - it was in the process of moving files from my camera's media stick to my file server that things went wrong. The file server is backed up nightly by Bacula - haven't yet found a camera that will do that!! |

Recommendation for USB based 802.11n network adapter with native driver support in Linux? You are right about the "draft" thing. It hasn't been a problem yet though - I have got one draft adapter talking to my draft router in 802.11 with a measured bandwidth 5 x higher than 802.11g. |

Recommendation for USB based 802.11n network adapter with native driver support in Linux? Hey CesarB: Thanks for your response. In my research (yep, I did spend some time on this first ;) I came across this page. As you point out, it solves the problem of compatibility once you know that your device is 802.11n. |
