Another geek still trying to decipher the meaning of “42”.

It seems that amount his main interest are:

  • online communities of practice and the way they evolve in time
  • product design, simplicity in design and accessibility
  • productivity and the way the IT solutions are impacting it

comment How to properly configure SSL certificates on a Synology NAS?
@mtak the nature of this problem makes it harder to split. Anyway, I had some progress on this and as soon I will have a working solution, I will post it. It seems to be harder than it appears.

comment Is there a wiki (in English language) about administration of Synology DSM and OS internals
This is not about recommandation, this guy is right there is a lack of information regarding Synology resources, mainly because people from Synology didn't spend enough effort on providing the right collaboration tools for the community. Here is another place where you can find other links to Synology communities facebook.com/synocommunity

revised How do I pass command line arguments to Dock items?
Added essential fix, the .app suffix is mandatory. Otherwise `open` it will start Google Chrome from your Parallels Windows VM!

comment How can I get the comment of the current authorized_keys ssh key?
I wonder if, after almost 4 years, you managed to find a solution for this problem. I am looking for something quite close to this: to identify user/email even when people did a connection as ROOT. I would even go so far to trust them if they would provide this information as an ENV variable that would be passed from the ssh client machine to the current server.
