How do you connect a hitachi CP-X400 projector to a Macbook Actually now you just have ONE port that allows you to connect to VGA, DVI, HDMI or DisplayPort devices. That meany you can use Beamers (that usually have a VGA port), Displays (there are still a few using VGA, most use DVI and then again a few HDMI) or TV sets (mostly HDMI). In addition to that you are able to use the quite modern (but widely unkown/unused) DisplayPort which can be used to control quite big displays (4096x2560). |

How can I send super large files directly to another computer in the Internet for free? You can't send files browser to browser as a browser always talks to a webserver. Take Facebook chat as an example: Your messages are always sent to the fb-server and then to your friend. So you should look for P2P solutions (BitTorrent?) or use passive FTP. |

MythTV hardware recommendations i wanted to edit my response yesterday but SU was down: The creator of the WinTV series - Hauppauge - has a line of PCI cards, too (i.e. the WinTV PVR 350 or 150). These are usually fully compatible with V4L and MythTV, even the integrated IR receivers work out of the box. |

MythTV hardware recommendations no, i just wanted to give an example for a rather underpowered mobo/CPU that can handle a MythTV frontend and backend at once. The WinTV PVR USB 2 is an example for a quite nice external (non-HD) Receiver with integrated MPEG2 encoder. |
