comment Is it possible to have multiple audio outputs?
What OS? Are you saying you're switching the audio output in control panel/etc? You're not physically changing any audio outputs, correct?

Why do you want to do this? Sounds like you want to just install an OS.

comment Second video card (PCI) under Windows 7
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Display_Driver_Model#WDDM_1.1 This is incorrect. Win7 now uses WDDM 1.1 which according to Wikipedia can "Support multiple drivers in a multi-adapter, multi-monitor setup". This doesn't help this particular situation with this card, but wanted to make note of it.

comment I bought an external HD with an eSATA port, connected to my laptop with eSATA port, and Vista does not detect it. Why?
Are you sure it's powered? Can you feel/hear the drive spin?

comment Can't ping by hostname of CentOS running on VM from Windows, but can from Mac
From you Question: Server: UnKnown Address: 192.168.1.1 From other comments it looks like this is a WRT54G which I don't believe updates its DNS from DHCP, but it looks like its returning the correct name of your server. Are you running stock firmware on the router?

comment How can I set Outlook up so that I can dial out using voip instead of a POTS?
I'm trying to figure out exactly what you use this for. Are you simply using Outlook to dial numbers in your contacts so you don't have to manually dial them on your phone? What VOIP are you using?

comment What cable to connect Inspiron 1720 to HDMI TV?
This is NOT what you want. VGA is analog and HDMI is digital. You can use that convertor box, but that cable will not do as you expect. Read the link that Molly added, the description even states: "this cable will not convert regular VGA video card signal to HDMI. It is not a PC-to-TV cable. This cable will only work on specific devices that output digital HDMI signals via VGA ports"

comment Dell laptop D530 with T7500 processor: what's the fastest processor upgrade?
I happen to know Dell does not do this with their laptops. I simple ZIF socket, like joeqwerty mentions, and the heatsink are all that keeps you from your chip. I replaced a number of mother boards on this generation of dell laptop.
