comment Unable to enter BIOS in Windows 7
@Wyzard, like I said, in the computer-repair field, the BIOS/EFI is the main CMOS. I have never heard anyone refer to anything other than the BIOS/EFI when using the term CMOS in regards to fixing computers.

Well then you have your answer. The CPU fan is faulty. I bet that if you give leave the case open and look at it, sometimes it will spin and other times not, but if you give it a push, it will start. This is a common failure that these types of brushless fans experience. Like I said, the airflow in the case is a secondary issue and the main problem is at the CPU (paste, heatsink, fan, etc.), so you will want to try changing it.

@Wyzard, yes but with computers, the BIOS/EFI is the main CMOS. I don't think I've ever heard anyone refer to any other kind.

comment Is it possible to download corrupted torrent files, even with a download client builtin checksum verification?
I’m sure collisions are not likely to be a problem since the hashes used are sufficiently large enough to make them rare. The question isn’t about the possibility of two files having the same hash, it is about whether the file could still be corrupt even after a corruption is detected. That is, whether the client will just ignore the error and leave it corrupt.

@Dehumanizer because it is not readily obvious whether the OP is male or female. I don’t know much about Malay names, but in English at least, Sam(s?) could be either. Perhaps a more obvious placeholder (at least for computer aficionados) would be *he or .*he.

It may only warn you once, but it would not just ignore a corrupt block and would retry downloading it again, no matter how many times it has to. Do you get problems with other files/torrents or only these videos? For copyrighted content, there are firms that actively pollute torrent swarms with fakes to deter copyright infringement (though the torrent client should block a sender if it gets a corrupt block from them too many times).

Resetting the BIOS to defaults should set the RAM options (page 20) to DRAM Frequency (Auto) and Configure DRAM Timing by SPD (Enabled), but check them anyway since this seems to be a RAM problem. Also check the SmartFan and thermal settings (page 34) to see if they are interfering (it may be that the CPU is just getting too hot—it works harder to initialize >2GB?—and the motherboard is shutting down to prevent damage). Definitely check that Auto Detect DIMM/PCI Clk (page 35) is set to auto and try disabling Spread Spectrum (this sometimes creates problems for some people).

Does it work if you use slots 3 & 4 and leave 1 & 2 empty? Did you also try the BIOS_R jumper (page 9) to reset the BIOS as well? What is your power-supply like? Does the PSU have a 20- or 24-pin connector (page 10)? Also, it may seem silly and is probably not it, but just for the sake of completeness, try unplugging the Reset button wire from the motherboard (page 12), just in case the button happens to be the problem. Another thing to check is the specifications of the RAM sticks (page 15). Are they the same or different?

I just tried .name. in Windows (XP) and it did not work; it complained about needing a filename.
