comment How to access Windows Registry from actual real MS-DOS
That’s just nitpicking. ◔_◔ DOS was discontinued when they stopped making new standalone versions and switched their focus to Windows only. Yes, it continued to exist even through Windows ME (even though they prevented booting directly into it like with previous Win9x versions), but once Windows 95 came out, they stopped caring about DOS and certainly did not bother to implement a way to access or edit the registry from DOS mode.

comment How to refresh bookmark favicons in chrome
You can try setting a bookmark while having Chrome Sync enabled and set to sync bookmarks. In my experience, it automatically touches every single bookmark, causing them all to float to the top of the history, and ostensibly, also refreshing their icons. I posted a bug-report about this behavior a while back, so they may or may not have fixed it.

comment Map “fn” + “home” to screen brightness using AutoHotKey?
Except that it almost certainly won’t work because in pretty much every system made in the past decade or two, the Fn key is a special case handled internally in the keyboard controller hardware and does not go through software. Therefore, it cannot be intercepted or remapped.
