@MinaIsaac, indeed, don't just accept an answer to close the issue and forget. If no answer fits your solution, then don't accept any. Listen to Arjan, tell us what's up. You've asked a question, now follow through so that the community could also gain from it.

@MinaIsaac, if you want a more specific RewriteCond, then use this: ^mail\.mydomain\.com$ instead of what you used (though I wouldn't be so speciffic. At least don't put the dollar $ sign at the end). And you changing the RewriteRule caused it not to work. Leave it to ^.*. If the RewriteCond passes, then you already have a request to mail.mydomain.com. Any such request should be forbidden. Don't try to insert any more rules there. Especially that RewriteRule only checks the trailing path (ex. /images/house.jpg). It does not contain the domain.

comment Windows 8 HDMI audio disconnects on playback stop
Thank you for this answer. It may actually help, but unfortunately I can't test it any more, since I've switched to DTS streams over S/PDIF from a "DTS Connect" enabled audio card. If anyone can confirm that this actually works, I'll mark this as the correct answer.

comment Windows 8 audio stutters. DPC Latency high on tcpip.sys
I've disabled HPET from BIOS, and the DPC timers got much lower, however I still get a high DPC Latency (and the occasional sound stutter) from time to time, caused by tcpip.sys. I've updated to the latest drivers, but the MSI website only offers drivers for Windows 7, not Windows 8. msi.com/product/mb/P55-CD53.html So the stuttering continues and I have ran out of ideas.

Thanks. I've started the logging tool. Also uninstalled DaemonTools for now, because if the author mentioned that case (SPTD, of which I was using the latest version), it must be kind of frequent. I'll see if it helps.

comment Duplicate monitor on highest resolution in Windows 7
I see. I guess it's because I use digital connections, which have to know what you have on the other side. DP and HDMI. HDMI is a troublesome port from what I've read.

I found no such setting. in fact I've played with all available settings in CCC and nothing enabled me to enable a higher resolution.
