Web Pioneer and HTML/CSS expert, that mainly works with PHP. Decent knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, flash and all that usual stuff...

Considers himself to be a beginner forever, even though has experience in the field, the fact that he is self-taught shows with constant beginner questions.

Talks about himself in third person.

comment 120fps video playback issues
What would be the symptoms that it is the fault of a slow rig? Shouldn't it be pixelated and broken or should it just playback slower that it should? I am worried that it is some kind of driver/firmware limitation on the framerate. (thank you for helping)

I tried the high quality version and it's playback is identical to the low quality version in MPC-HC and ZoomPlayer, in VLC and Windows Media Player it actually plays better but still slow motion and the video did not get stuck at any point.

@harrymc does this still apply if I downloaded the low resolution version? (I never tried the full resolution one)

comment Testing my new 120 Hz monitor
The Fan trick does not work with LCD unless it has a strobe backlight feature enabled, when it is then you can cleary see it flicker twice as fast in 120Hz mode over 60Hz

comment Testing my new 120 Hz monitor
The idea behind it is different but the software forced refresh still happens from top to bottom which looks almost the same as a regular refresh, it is this when people mention Hz with LCD and LED monitors youtube.com/watch?v=nCHgmCxGEzY

comment How to merge subfolders in libraries?
@techie007 oh, sorry (wow I must be slow today) yes, I did that, but the folders within "soft" don't merge in that case, I wonder if there is some alternative Explorer program that does this? Although I also had thoughts of using symlinks everywhere to organize my folders across the 6 hard disks that I have.
