Why can't I create VNC sessions? _XSERVTransNAMEDOpenServer isn't used on linux. I highly doubt this question is tagged correctly. The OP must be on Solaris. |

Is it possible to install Bonjour Service without the Print Services on Windows? You can also extract it with 7-zip or other free product. |

TightVNC and Vista yields “VNC server closed connection” For the record: RealVNC's viewer installer is now separate, so you can install it easily without the server. |

Can Max OSX be installed on this compaq laptop? "Should" is a funny way of putting it! It's obviously not legal to do so (breaking EULA) and is hardly something Apple intends. |

What is randomart produced by ssh-keygen? Not great. If you've logged in before, much better for the computer to do the recognition for you using a stored fingerprint. The feature's only meant to be used for logging into new machines. |

Preventing Windows 7 from automatically switching Aero off? No; unfortunately our released free version hasn't been updated since before I joined. We're currently in alpha though for V5, which does add the free edition back to the lineup. Using RealVNC, I can normally keep Aero running on Win7 fine, but it does occasionally run out of memory to store the zillions of layers. |
