@Julien Nicoulaud: don't use -d as this will upgrade to the latest devel release is possible. Use -c instead.

@Sathya: No, you would need to edit the package sources first. But that's not recommended as it isn't officially supported and may or may not fail.

@Arkapravo: dig and ping to different things: dig just asks the DNS to resolve the given name and tells you a bit about the query and its results; unlike ping it doesn't try to reach the host.
