comment What can cause the system to freeze in a way where even the reset button takes a long time to react?
That's odd. Every case I bought had separate switches and every mainboard had separate connectors. The buttons also behave quite differently - the power button tells the OS to shutdown and pressing it for a few secs powers the system off without waiting for the OS. The reset button performs a reset without letting the OS perform a clean shutdown.

I'm talking about the reset button, not the power button (they go to different connectors on the mainboard). So the first part of your answer is not really applicable....

To clarify, I do not have to hold the reset button pressed. I just press it once and then release it immediately. Regarding the power issue: There are no problems while playing HD videos (using VLC) or games with full details on 1920x1200 resolution.

Well, the reset key does work - with a few-second delay. Not reacting to interrupts sounds plausible though; the power-cycle-style reset that happens after the delay could indeed by some watchdog detecting that the system is not rebooting...

Calling people names like that is completely unacceptable here on Stack Overflow. You were probably downvoted because your question is Off-Topic here. Downvoted again and migrated to Superuser.com.

comment how to keep record of activities history in computer
Why the hell are you spying on your relatives?! They obviously don't want you to invade their privacy if they delete histories.

comment Is it possible to trace someone using Google during an online exam?
Horribly solution, I'd rather not be accused of cheating for opening notepad to make well.. notes before submitting an answer. For example, my professor here gave us ugly, unindented XML in an online exam which I had to indent in an editor to make it readable.
