comment How to conditionally (un)invert colors on inverted websites?
There are a couple of Firefox plugins that invert colors: Aniverto or BlankYourMonitor. Is that the kind of thing you mean?

comment Linux mint not running
Have a look at this help guide for black screen in Mint, see if the suggestions help: community.linuxmint.com/tutorial/view/842. The nomodeset stuff is likely to fix it, sounds like it could be a GPU issue.

It will help to list your hardware, particularly motherboard and graphics card. Are you using UEFI or Legacy BIOS?

comment Firefox on Linux always shows history dropdown when clicking back button
Sweet. You can use Ctrl-Shift-Del to bring up the clear history dialog if you don't want to have the add-on active.

comment Custom built computer won't turn on anymore?
Your motherboard isn't rated to run that monster 220W CPU, see: asus.com/au/Motherboards/M5A97_R20/HelpDesk_CPU, so motherboard problem is pretty likely. Trying an alternate PSU would be useful. Try strip-down, removing all non-essential things like SATA/USB/PCIe devices. If you manage to get it going again, remove any overclock if you've set one. Check temps using AMD's monitoring software.

comment How to reduce heat in my system?
You've got a bird's nest of cables in there -- doing a bit of cable management should help airflow and potentially help with cooling. You've also got what looks like the equivalent of a stock CPU cooler. You haven't provided the CPU model number but a high-end E5 will likely swamp a stock cooler, so you might want to consider an aftermarket cooler. Or at least remount the current cooler.

comment How to reduce heat in my system?
Hi Iclaudius, it might help people if you can provide details of what parts you've got: the current CPU fan, the model of case, how old is the machine are a few important ones. Link to an uploaded image if you're unsure what they are. The first thing I'd make sure is that while the machine is off make sure all the fans and vents are clear of dust, as this can make a big difference.

comment Hacked router affecting linux devices
Have you tried booting the infected laptop from a Linux live distro to confirm it's actually the router? Is it possible the infection is just on a couple of devices, rather than the router itself?

comment Is it necessary to use graphics card VGA port for moniter when using a graphics card
Not sure I understand the question...you can use any of the ports on your GPU. You may need to get an adapter cable depending on what exact combination of ports your monitor and GPU have, but you'll need to add exact model numbers to work that out.

comment Can't boot from USB or CD/DVD drive
Did you burn the dban ISO file as an image, or just as regular "data file"? You need to burn as an image (using something like Rufus) to make it bootable.

comment Would 650w PSU be enough for GTX 970 & GTX 960 sli?
You can't SLI a 960 with a 970, they have to match for SLI. 650W is potentially plausible but usually considered not enough (750W for headroom). Please provide exact PSU model -- not all "650W" PSUs are made equal.
