comment How do I move a line in a file to the top from the command line?
I was looking for the command line version. I used the pattern as romainl suggested. Works great. Going to update my script to use the vim command. Thank you both.

comment How do I change or edit Vim Homebrew recipe?
You can install MacVim to replace your system vim so you don't have to run mvim. brew install macvim --override-system-vim. Also if you are using tmux you might also want the pasteboard support. I think it is brew install reattach-to-namespace. Don't have my notes with me now.

This lead me down the correct path. I ended up with the following command that does what I need. gwmi -namespace root\wmi -class MSFC_FibrePortNPIVAttributes | select WWPN | foreach {[array]::Reverse($_.WWPN); [BitConverter]::ToUInt64($_.WWPN, 0).ToString("X") }
