To return to Tofystedeth's suggestion again - have you got the corresponding "Show icon in notification area when connected" ticked? If you've got it ticked - what happens if you untick it? (I'm thinking it could be that Windows treats that as some type of override on the other suggested options?)

+1 for a good additional note; from what I read calibration results are dependant on the lighting in the enviroment - so when the evening sun comes in the window the colours are off compared to night time use under artifical light. Which is fine for me, since the majority of my use of said monitor will be under artifical light, so I've calibrated it for that and will make do with the rest.

Try the advice here, it seems the most relevant I think - support.microsoft.com/kb/912257/en-us I'll update my answer to be more accurate now as well.

comment Is there a way to convert a list of cc'es to a distribution list in Outlook?
Damn. Well, as worth a try. I don't get much (read: any) external email at work so didn't have the opportunity to test. Hopefully someone can come up with a valid answer for you.

comment How do I get an Excel macro to copy data from a specific column and the same row that is selected at activating macro?
datatoo's later suggestion is much cleaner (and more efficent; simply better, really) so I suggest using that! I'd vote datatoo's answer up if I could, but I lack the reputation at the moment.
