comment Client config for private openvpn server
Thanks! I created the config files on the server, and then copied the files to the client. I renamed the folder to .tblk for tunnelblick, but now I get an error message related to tunnelblick. It cannot import the configuration it seems. Probably another question. I can try this on Android first.

comment OS X: How to output all nested files of Documents folder
What I don't understand is what you really need. You want the files back with their original date/time? Or you want to know which files have changed? If you want to move files over to another disk and keep the current timestamp, use rsync. That will keep date and time. You can make a copy, then check if it's OK, then remove the original files.

comment VirtualBox: Odd behaviour after updating the host to OS X Mavericks
I have no idea. You asked this question 1 hour ago. In that time you could have tried reinstalling many times. It can be a quick solution. Reinstalling does not mean that you delete the local configuration, so you can keep all your settings. Reinstalling could result in restoring proper rights. Alternatively it could be in your settings in your homefolder. Then look for .Virtualbox or something and rename that, start Virtualbox and import the problematic VM. Then you know if it's configuration or install. I have Mavericks, and many others with me, and it should work normally.

comment OSX Mail restored from backup - many folders missing
Thanks for your reply. I've downloaded and restored ~/Librar/Mail. If I look in that folder, there are probably hundreds or thousands of subfolders like archive.mbox/D09484VCDKE/Data/3/5/1/messages and then several files like 53204.emlx. In Mail I see only 5 of those mbox folders. The rest is simply missing. Could this be a rights problem? All accounts work via POP3.

comment Secure file transfer: VPN vs SFTP
I think SFTP or rsync is a good way to do this. Another ready to use tool is btsync, but it depends on what you need.
