If it consumes electricity, chances are good that I worked with it or at least know about it. SysAdmin and Programmer, worked with Basic and PHP as well as with Delphi and C#, my current favorite. I also do SharePoint for a living.

Is it possible to force a C# application compiled with the “Any” architecture tag to run as a 32 bit application on 64 bit windows? Just for the sake of completeness: That will actually modify myapp.exe, so keep a backup around if you want it to run in 64-Bit at some point. |

How can I upgrade from Vista 32-bit to Vista 64-bit? @Stevo3000: Which part of the contract? The OEM License only states that you may not use it more than once: "Alternative Versions. The software may include more than one version, such as 32-bit and 64-bit. You may use only one version at one time.". |

What happened to the B: drive in Windows and why does the hard drive default to C? By the way: C: is traditionally the first hard drive, but it does not need to be the system drive, you can happily install Windows on F: or I:, it's just hard (if not impossible) to change the Windows Drive Letter after installation. |

Windows Home Server Hangs on Restart (HP Mediasmart EX485) Running Memtest maybe a problem though as the MediaSmart does not have any Monitor Output, no serial console and no other way to get it's video output without soldering in a VGA Socket. But yes, if you have another PC to test the RAM in, that would be an option for sure (that's how I found my error) |

Can the Internet work without DNS? Sounds more like material for 69.59.196.212 erm... I mean serverfault.com. There, they can explain about how DNS names are easier to memorize, complain about the complexity of IPv6 and talk about how load balancing allows mapping one host name to X servers, how host headers work etc. etc. :-) |

What elements make you choose a browser? By brain is trained to ignore them nowadays. And if I would have used an AdBlocker, I wouldn't have my current job, but that's a different story. |
