If it consumes electricity, chances are good that I worked with it or at least know about it. SysAdmin and Programmer, worked with Basic and PHP as well as with Delphi. My current bread and butter is C# and JavaScript. I like to do Commodore 64 development as a hobby and dabbled in XNA for prototyping purposes.

I'm also on Twitter and I have a blog.

comment Offline Folders/Sync in Windows XP, Vista and 7 Home?
Just installed that for another project (where Dropbox is not appropriate), and SyncToy is excellent! Can be automated, has a lot of good options (Optional Full File comparison instead of just size/date, allows to specify if I want synchronization or just pure left-to-right or right-to-left one-way merge, and it's free)

comment Converting DisplayPort and/or HDMI to DVI-D?
Interesting. I'm guessing these work because they have the mentioned chip that actually converts the signal. The only downside is that they are VGA, which is a Sin.

comment Tool that automatically keeps old versions of a file? Shadow Copy in Win7?
That doesn't seem to work for me. I've enabled it for the drive, but it seems that I still have to manually create a Restore Point for these files to be picked up :/

I'm actually using Dropbox already, never realized it does versioning as well, thanks!
