Laptop detects HDMI connection but won't display anything Griffin The link just specifies the steps for setting it up. I already did all that. I have other laptops that could easily connect to the same TV, and I'm very familiar with the process. This one "behaves" as if it is connecting, but there is nothing displayed on the TV. Except for a brief moment when I connect the HDMI cable, it keeps saying "no signal" |

How to extract image from PDF file The point of "This extracts all JPEGs ... and all the other images as Portable PixMap .PPM" is important. Sometimes you want a tool that can convert everything to one format |

Copying files into a virtual PC is very slow They are sharing the same hard drive. I'm just using drag and drop of files |

Looking for a tool to manage all maintenance work on my PC Not exactly. I know I can automate and schedule most of this stuff. I was looking for something that saves most of the work of automation. Some tool that has prior knowledge of these maintenance application (with the ability to add more ass needed), and can just "plug them in" as needed. Maybe this is something missing in the market :) |

Dell Latitude D520 restarts spontaneously Nothing was added over the original hardware on this laptop. I even ran for periods with the DVD drive ejected (if that makes any difference in power consumption) |

Second monitor with laptop doesn't go to full resolution Another hint might be, that the monitor listed as connected is "default monitor". As I mentioned I wanted to get the official driver for the Gateway EV910, hopping that this will force the laptop to recognize the real hardware capabilities of this monitor. But I couldn't find this driver |

Second monitor with laptop doesn't go to full resolution The thing is I know for a fact the hardware supports higher resolution. Because I had it running at 1600*1200 before I updated the driver |

Second monitor with laptop doesn't go to full resolution I was looking at the Intel dialog. It has the same limitations (1024*768) as the XP one. |

HP G60 WiFi driver defaults to A/G/N with no B network I see no "Wireless Mode" in the properties list. Or anything similar with the a/b/g/n values available :( |

HP G60 WiFi driver defaults to A/G/N with no B network I have this driver already. Doesn't do the trick. I'm missing some steps. I'm using the default Vista wireless software |
