Windows 7 sometimes boots in VGA mode That's nice, but if I do that then I have resolution capped at 640x480 and no graphics acceleration at all. |

How do I reset the Windows password on an Acer Aspire One 753? I don't see why this got downvoted. I'd have posted a very similar answer. I would have described it a bit more though. |

Why would installing 8GB in a Macbook Pro crash Windows 7 (running under Bootcamp)? @Fabio - I thought Boot Camp only offered 32-bit drivers? |

What virus renames all images to EXE? The hidden files probably have a system file attribute set. Enable showing both hidden and system files, and they should appear. |

What software can I use to create an animated infographic? You could also try using Prezi to create an animated presentation. The problem with Prezi is that it tends to over-animate things, making things look very overly flashy. Also, you'd still have to capture the screen somehow. On the plus side, there is a free online version that should run on any system. |

Secure Connection Failed using Firefox See if the issuer is valid. You might see Verisign or another well-known certificate authority. If you see your company's name instead, or a servername that matches your company's naming practices (such as proxy1.company.com), then it could be a misconfigured SSL proxy somewhere on the network. |

Secure Connection Failed using Firefox That sounds like a "walled garden". In that case, there could still be a proxy server that isn't visible from your end. If that's the case, and there's an issue with the way the proxy handles SSL, it could cause this error. Try to visit https sites until you get an error stating that the certificate is not signed by a secure source, then check the issuer listed on that certificate. |
