I am an independent consultant and the founder and owner of Beetio.

I have a long historory in developing backend systems with a focus on high availability. My main platform has been the JVM and the Java language. That said, I know my way around many other languages and platforms, including but not limited to, dynamic languages like Ruby, PHP and Perl but also systems programming in C/C++ and even a bit of web development in the .Net platform using C#.

Throughout my career, I have had the pleasure to work on many different operating systems from various unix-like systems including Linux, Solaris and AIX.
