comment Restore BIOS password by dumping ROM?
Most manufacturers have a master password to allow entry into the bios (mp is specific to each pc), call Acer support to see if they will help you.

comment Restore BIOS password by dumping ROM?
Your other question is a duplicate, asking different methods to solve the same problem is not two different Questions.

comment Is there a script to reserve but not install/download Windows 10?
"Reservation" is MS hype, makes you feel special....Just disable the get windows 10 app for now, then re enable it when you are ready to upgrade.

Some cases require you run the startup repair 3 or more times in a row before it can repair all the damage.

Contact Foxconn to see if there is a way you can do it.

comment How to delete BIOS password?
If the password is kept in EEPROM, then resetting the bios will not reset the password, only the manufacturer can do a password reset.

comment Sony vaio: install windows 7 without destroying recovery feature
Use a third party software to make an Image of the entire hard drive, this image can be restored at a later date if you need W7 again. I like Acronis but is not free, Macrium Reflect has a free version

comment Sony vaio: install windows 7 without destroying recovery feature
Installing W7 will break (overwrite) the custom MBR that links function keys to the recovery partition, so it will no longer be accessible, sometimes you can mark the recovery partition as "active" and reboot, it may load the Vaio recovery software then.

Maybe that old W7 software does not work properly in Windows 10.

comment Can I install Windows 10 Home using the Pro DVD?
The reason it shows all versions is because it is being installed offline (clean) and does not detect a current version of Windows so it can match the version, when you do an in-place upgrade it will detect the correct version for the upgrade and not offer any other. Doing a clean install will also ask for a W10 product key.

comment Can I delete one of these windows partitions?
Does not change the fact that it is/was the recovery image partition. No way you can store a factory recovery image on a 450mb partition.

comment Computer tends to freeze and shutdown
Stress test the memory using memtest, let it run for several hours or more to see if it triggers the shutdown, if it does, then it is a bad memory module.

comment Can I delete one of these windows partitions?
Partition marked Recovery is not actually the recovery image, just the HP recovery manager software, the 24gb partition holds the factory Image.

comment Is it safe to temporarily delete hibernation and paging files?
I exclude those files when I backup using Acronis, It could cause boot problems after restoring the image but Windows recovery environment repairs it if you run a startup repair.

comment How many passes does Defrag take in Windows 10?
I have seen some systems do 15 passes before completion. Depends on how bad the fragmentation is. Consolidating free space seems to take the most time. Your 24 passes is a record breaker!

Be sure power cord is removed, then hold power button in for 15 seconds, this discharges the motherboard of residual electricity, then short the pins with a small screwdriver for 15 seconds.
