Software RAID 1 broken, how do I fix this? Your original question didn't make sense. Claiming "The other devices weren't even powered on, I was running from CentOS DVD-ROM to test them out." certainly didn't help. |

Sharing Excel sheet over network? Most barcode scanners tend to show up as a USB Keyboard (or at least have a mode to which you can set them and make them appear as a USB keyboard, so I wouldn't worry about that). |

Ubuntu 12.04 - Add RAID 1 Array on existing device? You'll need to read the mdadm and software RAID documentation to avoid losing your data and get familiar with it. For example, are your hard drives the same size? Probably not since one is IDE and one is SATA. You'll need to ensure the RAID device you create is not too large. |
