comment LogiLDA.dll missing after updating to Windows 8.1
That's true, but it's definitely connected to the 8.1 update (because it happened to me too). Presumably the update wiped out the directory holding the dll.

comment What is Performance Monitor telling me when my page faults / second are high?
You can't exactly increase your processor cache(s). Adding more memory won't fix that. (which you mentioned in your most recent comment)

comment windows 7 second monitor switch off after UAC prompt
I have the exact same problem. I have an ASUS monitor hooked up via HDMI to my Fujitsu Lifebook T731 convertible tablet. Whenever UAC pops up, the monitor disconnects.

comment How to calibrate Wacom tablets under Ubuntu Lucid?
Don't forget that most convertible tablets are also a type of Wacom tablet. My Fujitsu Lifebook has a Wacom digitizer built in to the screen and, uncalibrated, it can be almost as much as an entire centimeter off at some positions. It's times like that when calibration really matters.

It looks like isolinux.cfg is going to be it. I'll mark you as accepted after I try it (just to make sure).

I updated the question to address your answer. As you can see from the directory tree I included, there is no grub.lst on the disk. (at least not as an standalone uncompressed file - it might be in a tarball somewhere) Also, I believe (but I could be wrong) GRUB2 (the latest version of GRUB) depreciated grub.lst and replaced it with /etc/default/grub. When I boot into the disk, I am able to navigate to that directory (/etc/default/), but it doesn't show up on the disk. I'm guessing it's compressed in a file somewhere but I don't actually know.
