comment How to sort the output of find?
this question might help: superuser.com/questions/416308/… essentially, you put what you want to sort on as the first field by editing the output format, then sort the outputs

comment unknown filesystem grub rescue ubuntu
there's plenty of linux live distros that'll fit into a fraction of that and boot right off a usb stick. I'm also assuming they installed linux from one in the first place, given that most distros are installed from such these days. Also no information in the original question that windows even still boots - given that grub is borked.

comment Lipstick in USB; Ideas about how to remove it?
use a pin / needle and scrape it out carefully. as long as you get electrical contact on the pins once inserted you should be fine.

comment Avoid “rm” in makefile
You may want to also check for '..' and ';' in the variable also if your paranoid, else a variable of '../../../../../../../' makes a sad panda.

comment rsync variables script syntax error
i mean the output of the echo, pasted back into a terminal as a command. It seems like eval might be able to 'fix' the issue, but i'm not sure why that'd make a difference.

comment Do I need new headphones?
if its from a phone, you probably want a trrs adaptor, but it could be the headphones have trible and bass speakers on them and one's blown. Highly unlikely though, but without a trrs it wouldn't work at all, either.

weird. most of those bugs are dated during time that i've used thunderbird every single day. Never had any of those issues.

comment Require user passwords on linux only on weekdays
write a script to run on boot, if the day is a weekday, edit the gui config file to allow passwordless auto login. remove that line in a script that runs when gui finishes logging in. it's not as hard as it sounds
