is condensation a consideration in the context of this question ?

comment Is it safe to destroy a hard drive by putting it in an oven?
sounds like a terrible idea compared to just wiping it.

comment Require user passwords on linux only on weekdays
write a script to run on boot, if the day is a weekday, edit the gui config file to allow passwordless auto login. remove that line in a script that runs when gui finishes logging in. it's not as hard as it sounds

comment How do I set Input interface is output interface
i dont think i understand your setup enough to give you the exact commands. But assuming you're routing traffic from the client over the vpn link (which you may or may not be currently, depending on the client's routing table), and you've got masquerading on, it'll work.

better. i think the confusion is 'i should see' - which is pretty vague. See where ? As the ip address given to the client ? That wouldn't make sense as you can't have a client with the same ip as the vpn server.

comment Is there any way to burn into disc that is not empty?
if it failed at '1%' perhaps it's possible nothing ever actually made it to disc and you were still filling the write buffer up.

are you able to re-word this more clearly ? It dosen't make a whole lot of sense at the moment. Do you mean you're trying to ping one interface from the other one ?

comment What kind of power port is this?
@Ƭᴇcʜιᴇ007 pretty sure i've used apc ups units that use those connections. That was in europe. Quite common i thought until i saw this question.

comment I just assembled my computer and the motherboard started smoking, how do I know which parts are affected?
check the motherboard isn't shorted on the case. Like say if a screw got dropped during putting together and wedged behind the board and the case. -- I have done this, it sucked. (and it was subsequently permanently broken)

you haven't set one up, or there isn't one ? That may not be the same thing. Either way, just this conversation indicates there's just not enough information for anyone to help you without an extended all-encompassing answer which tries to do an entire walkthrough of all possible issues involved, which isn't a good fit for a Q&A site. Sorry :-(

the configuration of your dns entries would be good. The domain name in question, the output of ping operations, the configuration of firewalls on the machine, any traceroute output.... etc etc.

there's nowhere near enough information given to answer this without vague hand waving and interpreted dance.
