comment GHOST glibc vulnerability (CVE-2015-0235): is it required restart a server after glibc upgrade?
That's a pretty roundabout and inaccurate method. How do I detect running processes using a library package? Anyway, for glibc, the answer is pretty much every process. What would be useful would be to know which processes are left over with the old copy, and this command won't tell you.

FYI: Restarting init without restarting the system

comment Pros and cons of bzip vs gzip?
@shgnInc Less commonly available than bzip2. As for speed, it depends how many processors you have. Hmm, I should add xz.

comment Very Slow Charging: Thinkpad X60
This is about hardware, not about the operating system, so you'll probably get better advice on Super User. (Don't repost there, but you may want to flag your question and request that a moderator migrate your question to SU.) My hunch is that this is normal: batteries don't age well, an old battery is likely to have poor behavior. If it's a new battery (your question isn't clear), it's possible that the first (or first few) charging takes longer because the battery needs to be calibrated.

comment Is there an AES 256 LUKS encryption option in Fedora?
EAS 256 isn't good enough and you want 256 or stronger? Please at least re-read what you write. Oh, and 128 is good enough.

With which version of Windows? And don't forget to prevent booting from an alternate disk or bootloader, and put a password on BIOS settings.
