Stop Live Messenger From Syncing Window Status Between Computers Thanks surfasb. It's not that I want to disable multiple sign-in, I just want to keep it from modifying windows on one machine based on my actions on another machine. e.g. if I close a chat window on my phone, it should stay open on my desktop. |

What free alternatives to Photoshop are there for making Android Icons? And my tip, since your templates are already PSD files, would be to download the trial version of Photoshop from Adobe, open your files, save the layers out individually (or just save a layered TIFF), then you can do whatever you like with them in Paint.NET or GIMP. |

Add noise to gradient photoshop Your way's good too, I actually thought about the layer mask trick. Only problem I was thinking was that any other layer effects (e.g. Drop Shadow, Outer Glow) would bleed into the areas left transparent by the layer mask. If it was just the gradient though, and a white background it would work. |

Computer Locks Up Completely When Resuming From Standby That actually seems to have worked. No problems as of yet. Should I be looking into replacing my drive? Or could it just be a problem with the OS? |
