@EBGreen hah.. yah i guess im trying to shortcut a very short process :) but yah.. i usually have a text editor already open with 10-20 tabs, and this just opens another one i have to worry about closing right after.. would be nice to have a quick peek w/out opening anything

i'd have to open command line to that location, and than type it out.. how's that quicker than just right click > open in editor ?

so i created a shortcut in finder, on the left pane. it worked for a bit, but now clicking on it doesn't do anything, and i can't even select it or remove it from finder.

thanks!! this silly task seems to be enormoussly difficult on a mac.. i just lost an hour trying to get Automator to do this. and not only does it seem to have horrible shotcomings as far as configuration goes i couldnt even get it to work.. because the scale task was not finding the images. and all the utilities google turned up were terrible as well.
