comment How can I replace the first several characters on multiple lines in Notepad++?
Probably not a big deal, but \n.... will always miss the first line. You could instead search from the beginning of the line, ie. ^....

comment How to incorporate two (and) functions together in excel?
F20*(E9/1000) is presumably your calculation for "square footage", but what's F20*200?

comment Why can't I access my router's configuration page via https?
Having said that, I also have a TP-LINK router and that is also not available over an HTTPS connection.

comment Why can't I access my router's configuration page via https?
What actually happens when you try to access via HTTPS? Does it not resolve or do you simply get a certificate warning? Many routers use self-signed certs so the browser blows up with the necessary warnings, but you can go "advanced" and proceed over an HTTPS/encrypted connection if you want.

comment How do you know the size of a 7zip compressed file?
You can get the same information in the GUI under the "Packed Size" column (select View > Details or Ctrl+4). Or hit the big i "Info" button on the toolbar (or Alt+Enter) for more information and a summary when no files are selected.

What if you "Clear browsing data..." > "the past week" > "Browsing history" - does that remove the "recently closed tabs"?

comment Max files per directory on NTFS vol vs FAT32
"Maximum number of files in a single folder: 65,534 (FAT32)" - This limit would seem to be dependent on the length of the filenames. Specifically, if you are using LFNs (ie. not just the 8.3 short names). The short name and each 13 byte block of the LFN are stored in separate directory entries, which can greatly reduce the actual number of files that can be stored. Reference: help.lockergnome.com/windows2/…

comment FTP connection to directory failed
You mention "IP Address", but you have a named host in your connection details? (Which incidentally doesn't resolve.)

comment Windows has changed to download and install updates automatically?
Thanks for the answer/confirmation. (To the downvoter: This is confirmation of the behaviour hypothesised in my question, it's not simply a "me too" response; it is a valid answer.)

comment strange behaviour with return/enter key in Brackets
What you are experiencing would seem to be expected behaviour? Or are you suggesting the edit window has lost focus (ie. no cursor) after hitting the enter key the first time? What platform are you on?

comment How do I view, add or edit Cookies in Google Chrome?
@moose Yes. (Although Chrome used to allow you to drag these special links to the address bar / omni box, but they stopped that as well - you just get the about:blank page now. You can still manually "Copy link address" and paste it in the address bar - marginally quicker than selecting, copy and paste.)

comment How do I view, add or edit Cookies in Google Chrome?
Note that viewing Resources > Cookies (in developer tools) just shows the cookies that are available to the current request. Whereas "All cookies and site data..." shows you all the cookies that have been set for a particular domain (regardless of the path).
