What are some options for transfering large files without using the Internet? +1 for blocking bandwidth-wasting sites - if the work internet connection is struggling, it should be restricted to work-only purposes. |

Windows 7 shutdown/restart/logout dialog I actually want it to pop up a dialog and ask me what to do every time I press the power button, the way you can do it in Windows XP. Setting it to shut down or power off seems a bit dangerous, and I already have a shortcut key for standby. |

Restoring a Lenovo x220 that won't boot Yes I realised after I posted that hard drive corruption was possible/likely. Do the windows disk check and the Fedora dosfsck handle dual-boot setups? |
