comment How to install a 32 bit version of perl on 64 bit Cent OS server?
Then you need a 32-bit version of yacc as well. You will need 32-bit versions of every library and dependency that perl uses. This is a lot of work.

I don't have access to a CentOS computer, nor do I understand the need to do this in the first place, so you will just have to try it. If it configures, compiles and runs, it works. Another solution for running a 32-bit version of perl on a 64-bit computer is to run it in a virtual machine in a 32-bit OS.

comment Modern alternative to POVray scene description languade
I don't think Yafaray supports all that, so in that case the answer is just "no". See also: yafaray.org/development/documentation/XMLspecs I'm a big fan of Luxrender too, btw.

I've had problems with old SD-cards and ext2 (data corruption) that went away when switching to XFS instead.

comment Cannot boot from USB Stick
MarkM, it is not said what OS is currently in use, only that the OP is trying to boot Ubuntu from an USB stick. You're the one that might want to read the question again.
