Software to clean up photos of whiteboards and documents? I think scanR went away or had problems. Non-open-source on the Mac there's Prizmo (via the app store), use the "Homogenize" feature. |

How to pause TTS in Mac Safari when not using full VoiceOver mode? Wow, that's pretty cool. Sadly on the Mac it's a bit glitchy, like skips or ticks on a record player. Also, though I set hotkeys, I couldn't get it to actually pause. Also, clicking the big Pause/Resume button only changes the volume, even though I'm clicking in the center area white area (where I think the pause button is supposed to be). But this is encouraging, maybe there's some other plugins out there! |

How to pause TTS in Mac Safari when not using full VoiceOver mode? That's good information, at least I know that there's not some other secret keystroke I'm just not finding, so I can stop looking for it! I know Voice Over is customizable, so maybe I can turn off a ton of things I don't want... A BETTER option might be a plugin for any of the 3 browsers that can talk back and forth with the TTS engine. Maybe it could either get feedback from the tts engine, or maybe estimate the stopping point based on text length and rate, maybe err on the side of backing up just a bit. Thanks again for the info, hope we can get some other ideas going.... |

How do you go from VESA 100x100 to VESA 200x200? Thanks for the suggestion, and this is what I eventually did. But it was VERY dangerous if you don't have the right tools. Even with a vice, a good drill, and a special metal drill bit, it was hard to drill the holes larger. The metal came lose many times, almost cutting my hand, etc. I think you'd need an actual drill press to do this properly, not just a drill and vice. |

How do you go from VESA 100x100 to VESA 200x200? WOW! THANK YOU. That would explain a lot. Now I'll need to go see if they make M6 to M8 sleeves of some sort. My panel has M8 sockets, but virtually all of the adapters seem to have M6 holes, so I basically need a filler. |

How do you go from VESA 100x100 to VESA 200x200? Thank you, BUT strangely no, this will not work. I realize my comment sounds like nonsense - that's why I've been posting. I've tried several of these, maybe even that exact one, and the holes are too small. See the next answer, he's saying some additional standard allows for M6 screws, which are a bit smaller. |

Quick Release mounts for VESA/monitor mounting? After trying several mounts, the problem with wall mounts is they expect to go into a well, so the wall-side doesn't obey the VESA standard. |

Quick Release mounts for VESA/monitor mounting? Thanks Ignacio. You mentioned wall mounts, were these for TVs? Or monitors? Although they're both "VESA", the TV mounts are the larger VESA variants. In my case, one of the VESA mounts is already in place, and doesn't have the snap mount. The snap parts you've seen from different vendors, did they seem like they would interoperate with each other? |
