comment Realtime Code Collaboration That is Not Floobits
I think you're better off either setting up some ssh tunnels, or maybe give tmate a try (pairing tweaked tmux)

comment ls -d is not displaying directories. Is there a way to get ls to only display directories instead of files and directories
This is going to filter out more than directories.

comment What is the cURL command-line syntax to do a POST request?
@NiklasBerglund this should be addressed, there's nothing intrinsically RESTful about this, you simply have better access to request methods this way. -X is --request and any HTTP 1.1 method can be used with it (according to the docs), ie. get, post, put, delete, head, options, trace, connect and presumably patch - FWIW, RESTful implies the url represents the state being accessed, and the method (adequately) describes the operation being performed.

comment Changing an Application's icon from the terminal OSX
Unfortunately that's already the case with the permissions / access modes correct, when the file is copied via the shell. BTW, user ownership permissions don't come into play with the drag-drop method. The owner was listed as username:admin

comment How do I open several files at once in Emacs?
You can't do this with dired, (unmodified.) However dired+ can, or use Trey Jackson's defun : stackoverflow.com/a/1110487/311660
